Todd Forrest is a Managing Director and Chief Financial Officer at Hummer Winblad Venture Partners. Todd joined Hummer Winblad in 2002.

Todd plays a key role in the structuring and negotiation of Hummer Winblad’s investments. Todd provides advisory services to portfolio companies in the areas of business strategy development, contract negotiation, corporate governance, financing alternatives, and cash management strategies. Todd is also responsible for Hummer Winblad’s financial, legal and operational matters and was instrumental in closing Hummer Winblad’s recent fund.

Prior to joining Hummer Winblad, Todd was the Vice President - Finance & Administration at Critical Path, Inc., and a member of its Executive Staff. Todd worked closely with the corporate and business development teams in structuring multiple acquisitions and key partnership agreements. Todd oversaw worldwide financial planning, tax strategy, accounting, reporting, management information systems, treasury, and facilities.

Prior to Critical Path, Todd was an audit manager at PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP, where he delivered advisory services to multi-national public and private companies primarily in the technology, telecommunications, and financial services industries.

Todd is a member of the Private Equity CFO Organization, CFO Task Force for the National Venture Capital Association and the AICPA.

Todd is a CPA and received a B.S. in Accountancy from Bentley College.
